I love being able to make a small contribution to our troops overseas BUT I wish it wasn't tied into my regular delivery schedule as I would like to send 'Coffee to the Troops' on a monthly basis but would never be able to use the corresponding amount of coffee that I would end up with in my own shipments!

Sending coffee to the troops is one of the nicest ways to say thanks to those men and women fighting overseeas for our safety. If I could I would send them all thank you cards and a pound each! Unfortunately I can't so a pound or two a month, Every month, troop donations truly is the best. Maybe you could try to, eh?

There are not enough ways to say 'thank you' to our troops who risk everything for us. Regardless of opinions on the politics of their deployment, we all owe them a debt that will never be repaid. A really good cup of coffee or chocolate might be just the small treat that will keep them together for another day. Everyone should send a bag.

I don't use this product (coffee for the troops) but my son and his company did. He is a Navy Hospital Corpsman assigned to the Marine Corps. He was deployed to Afghanastan once and Iraq twice. The coffee sent to the troops made his day....no, he corrects me, it made his deployment! He said it was one of the best gifts from home he received, second only to pictures of his wife and little girls.

I wanted to thank you, Boca Java, for allowing us to be able to take part in this worthy cause. I was stunned when I received an email from Iraq, thanking some of us who contributed. He said that he sort of remembered putting in a request for the coffee donation and was so surprised when a box, crammed full of coffee, arrived for his men. What a joy it was to hear from him!

This is so great to be able to order a little something for our troops every time I order my coffee. My husband is over there and one of the things he really misses is GOOD coffee. :) Boca Java's coffees are truly wonderful. By contrast, a large coffee chain was asked to set up mini-stores in the PX's over there and they declined because they do not support the war. I was happy to find this option provided in my shopping cart soon after I heard about that!

I received an email thanking a group of us that contribute to the Operation 5 Million Cups (Coffee for the Troops) from an Airman (USAF) in Iraq. It was such a surprise and made my day! This has to be one of the most unique ways to thank those keeping our country safe.

As I commented earlier, making this gesture so easy for us at home to do was a great idea. I hope you continue this program year 'round, at least during the cold months. I come from a long line of coffee drinkers AND U.S. servicemen who served in WWII, Korea, Vietnam, and were stationed here and yonder in between conflicts/wars. Those relatives have since passed on but I remember one uncle mentioning the horrific coffee they had to drink in the mess hall during the Berlin Airlift. I'm participating in Coffee for the Troops in memory of my family members and in honor and gratitude for the troops overseas now. This is an awesome program and I have received two thank-you notes from troops since I signed up with this program. I don't expect a thank-you at all but it made me realize that REAL troops do get the benefits of this program.
