this coffee cup is amazing. it keeps things hot for about an hour and cold things stay cold as well. some of the other reviews say it's not dishwasher safe but i've put it in the dishwasher a few times and never had a problem. it's scratch proof (as far as i can tell) stylish and practical and the only thing i can think of that would make it better would be for it to have a handle.

Actually I did wash one in the dishwasher without any problem/loss of ability to maintain heat/cold until I opened a second and noticed it recommended hand washing. By FAR, this is the best thermos carafe I have ever used - over 30 active years relying on thermos carafes.

I will buy another one.

I drink my coffee at third-degree-burn-hot so keeping it that way is a priority. This coffe mug keeps my coffee drinkably hot for up to an hour. Most people will be happy with the coffee temperature longer than an hour. However, I tested this in the summer; cold winter temperatures may reduce how long it stays hot.

The lack of a handle isn't a problem. I have some slight arthritis in my hands but so far I haven't dropped it. It's easy enough to grip without a handle.

The finish didn't scratch when I inadvertently scraped the mug against my car keys.

The lid is lightweight which was a concern but it fits securely and the sip tab stays closed when it's supposed to. There is a small vent hole oppposite the sip slot. Although the vent is covered when the sip tab is closed, it still allows coffee to splash out if the mug tips over.

The mug fits perfectly into the drink holder in my car, a small sedan, like it was made for the model.

This travel mug has a sleek, modern look, performs as described and is a very good value for the sale price!

I love my mug. My coffee stays hot longer in it than any other mug I've EVER used. That's all I want is for a product to do what it claims and this mug honestly does.

I have been trying to stay away from plastic drink containers and this fits the bill perfectly when on the go. Even though it says it's not dishwasher safe, my husband (not knowing this) put them in the dishwasher with no visible damage. It did not get water in between the layers.

I've used it for both hot and iced coffee. One of the things I like best is when I drink from it, it doesn't drip onto the front of me like so many travel mugs.

Just preheat before using by filling with hot water and let stand for a minute or two and it will keep your coffee hot for a long time.

I took this container to work, and it kept my beverage HOT for 3 hours before it cooled enough for me to sip it. I'd say it had done its job. Next time, I just won't use as hot water.
