This was the second of Boca Java's roasts that I have tried. I made it in a auto-drip maker. It has a nice caramel, complex flavor that I look for in a cup of coffee. My only wish is that it was available in an organic version.

As an "average Joe" coffee consumer, I will pay [$] for what I thought was a bag of the best coffee available for the price. Coastal Costa Rican coffee far surpasses the Original Blend of that orange bag. It's very close to being the perfect cup to me. I drink coffee black and this is smooth and satisfying. The aroma really pulls you in. Will be making this my "must have" on next order.

This is one of my favorite coffes and Boca Java has improved on it. The moment you pick up the package, you can smell the aroma and it takes you straight to the island of its origin. The flavor is full and so silky and so well balnced that you feel so relaxed and happy as if you were in the middle of winter rolled up in your fovorite warm fluffy blanket keeping you snug, and so warm inside. I loved the whole experience.

I only use Boca Java in the Frenchy. I feel it does it justice. Any other coffee maker just doesn't cut it for the quality of this coffee. To put Boca Java, Costal Costa Rica in a regular coffee maker would be like me driving my Dad's John Deere down Rodeo (Ro-day-o) Dr. in Beverly Hills.

We use this coffee just about every morning. If it's just me, I use "My K-cup" in my single cup coffee maker. We use it if we have dessert occasionally also. The "leftovers" make tasty iced coffee in the summer. This is our everyday coffee, we haven't found another flavor we both agree upon! I can't think of anything negative to say about this coffee, we have shared it with family, they enjoy it also.

I use my coffee in everything from a 1940's percolator to a french press. I found this coffee, at the best, alright from the french press but needed to be made rather strong for the flavor to come through. I'm just not a big fan of this coffee

I get this coffee for my Dad and the guys at the VFW hall. They can't get enough. They tell me it is the best coffee they have ever had, and they are "veteran" coffee drinkers. They are no strangers to fru-fru coffees even though they are getting up-there in age, but Coastal Costa Rica knocked their socks off. They can't wait for each month's shipment, and I am their favorite non-member. I even got invited to the member's-only picnic! Great coffee!

I've always enjoyed Costa Rican coffee, and this was no exception. Compares very favorably with any I've tried. A smooth, pleasing taste, with a gentle aftertaste, and no hint of burnt beans. Very satisfying as a beverage, or with any meal.

None of the coffees I tried swept me off my feet. I am going to try a few more since I may have made selections that did not appeal to me personally. Maybe I need to try the teas or chais. I am very picky with my coffee. The packaging is lovely and that is what initially attracted me to the club.

Used a 1-cup electric drip coffeemaker from toastess (the one that came from boca java). I love the coffeemaker! The costa rican blend is very good. it is a bit more full and earthy than the typical hotel style coffee, served at banquets and other gatherings.not nearly as earthy as [...].

I make my coffee in a French Press to keep most of the natural oils in the cup and not the filter paper. This blend did better in a drip coffee maker. Most Central American blends tend to be on the acidic end with a medium roast, as was the case with this blend. I found this coffee similar to other Central American coffee so if you like others you'll like this.

This is a great unflavored coffee. It is balanced, has a wonderful med. dark roast, and low acidity. It's our favorite "non-flavored" blend. We mix it with any flavored coffee we buy, our favorite of which is "Surfing Safari".
Again, I make sure to brew it with bottled water in order to keep out any impurities and keep the flavor as clean as possible

The flavor is this coffee is perfect. I purchased the whole bean coffee and I grind it fresh each morning. I prepare the coffee in my French Press. It always comes out great. It has a nice aroma and a full bodied flavor. It's bold... but not overly bold.

I was not very happy with this coffee. There is a bitter aftertaste that lingers. I have tried brewing it at different strength levels and can't seem to get past the bitterness even with a weak brew.

I don't consume my Coastal Costa Rica Coffee on an every day basis because I appreciate it's distinct flavor as an occasional treat. I prefer it in the early evening when I get home from work. It has a very mild flavor and is very soothing. As the weather outside is now colder, a hot cup of coffee when I get home is very inviting.

I belong to several coffee clubs and usually enjoy sampling an array of products. The light flavor of the blend was too light and somewhat disappointing. Out of the 4 brand flavors I chose this order it comes in at 4th...it requres too much coffee grounds to make a decent tasting pot. I think I'll stick with the full body dark roasts so I can taste what I'm drinking.
