*Because I am on medications, I have to use Decaf so Decaf drinkers would benefit a lot from my reviews*
Every night after dinner, I brew my pot of coffee to sit and relax with for the evening. Surfing Safari is my absolute favorite. Opening the bag and smelling that delicious roast for me is a little slice of Heaven! Then that first sip..ahhh! One taste is like a little symphony of flavors, smooth and delicious with a perfect finish. I've tried many of Boca Java's flavors, but come back to Surfing Safari every time. *Also, with ALL of Boca Java's coffee flavors I have tried and that's most of them, you cannot even tell that it's Decaf. There's no "funny taste" or aftertaste that a lot of decaf coffes have.* I highly recomend this delicious flavor if you'd like a coffee that's slightly sweet and bursting with flavor.

This is my and my husband's favorite flavored coffee. The combination of vanilla, carmel, and Kahlua is a smooth and interesting blend.

It's the perfect roast; a nice, med. dark, with a pleasant aftertaste. I make sure I brew it, and all my coffee, with bottled water in order to draw out the best flavors and keep out the harsh, impure tastes.

This has been my Friday morning staple for the last two years. But over the last few orders I've noticed that the coffee isn't as pungent in the bag as it used to be and the aroma of the brewing coffee isn't as appealing. If I add more coffee that doesn't help the flavor. I'm disappointed in the decrease in flavor.

I hope Boca Java SERIOUSLY rethinks and retools the flavor on this coffee and brings it back up to the expectations of those who have felt the same as me.

I have never before found a flavored coffee that doesn't smell and/or taste artificial, until trying Boca Java's flavors -- particularly Surfin' Safari. I get an order every 5 weeks and it varies a bit, but there are ALWAYS at least 2 bags of Surfin' Safari (decaf). I have an auto-drip maker and I like to mix this flavor with one or 2 tablespoons of unflavored decaf (or regular, depending on who's joining me). I love it hot, but it's also my favorite flavor for iced coffee, too.

A year or so ago we used exclusivey as a dessert coffe, flavor was bold and could take a load of cream. The batches this year lose most of the flavor in the brewing cycle. Wish it tasted like it used to; was the best! Its good, but no longer great.

I have been a Boca Java customer since 2000 and have noticed the quality of the flavor fading over time. When I first joined the Surfin Safari was the best tasting coffee I had found. With each purchase I notice the flavor and aroma being weaker. I miss the old ways and feel that I may have to leave Boca Java.

This is my favorite so far. The blending of f lavors is perfect. I had to switch to decaf for medical reasons, and most decaf is simply boring...but surfin' safari is so delicious...just the smell of it gets me excited in the morning. I no longer miss caffeine! I wish it were more affordable, though.

As a black coffee drinker, I don't care for a coffee that I have to add sugar and milk, in order to make it drinkable. It was fine to drink after adding to it, and even better so as ice coffee. Not good enough that I will use the grounds more than the 2 times I tried it, unless I was out of other grounds and wanted coffee. I would not recommend this flavor, but it maybe be a good flavor for coffee drinkers that always add to their black coffee.
