After a couple years I'm here to buy the one-cup coffee maker; my second. I make two cups of excellent coffee daily, traveling or at home. The water is hotter then any full sized coffee maker I've had throughout the years no matter the price. There are no little children in my household so I can (slightly) tip my largest cups to fit snuggly under the spout. Every cup is perfect. If I'm not near-by when it stops the element seems to go into a "wait" or "holding" mode. If someone has difficulty working w/the unit at first try it for a week or so. Most of us aren't used to making a single cup of coffee. If it over flows the basket try using less grounds. Once you do get used to it you'll be back here, too, spending your own money to buy another. Enjoy.

I bought this unit to save money on coffee, as I rarely drink more than a cup at a time but had been using a big coffeemaker. This generally results in coffee going to waste each time I wanted just one cup.

For the price paid, I expected a coffeemaker that would stand up to daily use. This coffeemaker will not. With only 2-3 uses, the lid will not stay attached to the base. Not a huge deal, but indicative of a product that is poorly made.

Not worth sending back, so will donate mine to the office. Spend a little more money and buy something that is better made.

The coffee is not hot enough. Using a drip grind coffee, it overflowed the basket. I even used the measuring scoop that came with the brewer. It is OK for the times when I want only one cup. From its construction I would have expected to find it at Dollar General rather than from Boca Java. I am glad I didn't pay any more for it than I did. I guess you do get what you pay for.

The cup that comes with this coffee maker is tiny. There is a platform provided for a larger cup, but all of my mugs are too tall to fit. While it makes a very good cup of coffee, and it uses a reusable permanent filter, I would never drink so little coffee at once so this was not a good purchase for me.

This single serve brew coffee maker is nice for one person good filter makes a great tasting coffee. The one draw back is that it is not hot enough.

The one cup coffee maker was a disappointment. Being from Boca Java, I expected that it would produce a full-bodied, rich cup of coffee. Not what I experienced. Of course, the price point is very reasonable and for those who like a weaker tasting coffee, it could be good.

Useless gadget; the concept was good if it only worked the way it's supposed to.
Tried it several times before finally gave up and went back to my 4-Cup Coffee maker which is very old. At least the coffee brews hot the way good coffee is supposed to come out.
