The product is simple to use. Open it with by the flip tab, add one ounce of tea leaves, close. There is a small catch at the end of the chain so you can attach it to the mug handle to let water flow past the leaves.

Here's the problem we had. The catch at the end of the chain is very small and not east to get on, even harder to get off.
The space left between the top and bottom of the infuser allows the smallest pieces of tea to escape and float in the mug.
If you don't mind loose tea in your mug then this is an inexpensive and permanent item that will last years. If it is cared for an maintained properly.

We primarily use it on rare occasions that we do not have the one time use disposable tea bags, also sold on this site.
I would recommend it for occasional/emergency use or until something better comes along that is permanent and will contain all the tea leaves.

The biggest drawback of this product is that there are tea leaves in the bottom of your cup or in the teapot when tea is brewed with it. I will use it since I like to buy loose tea and I need some way to keep most of the tea leaves contained. I have used other tea infusers and have had the same problem with all of them. Also, it is hard to close it completely.

The infuser was okay, it just released some of the loose tea in the bottom of the cup. I need to find something a bit more secure.
