Comments about Conair Corp-Cuisinart Cuisinart Grinder:

Bad design and poor material in a very attractive housing. Screws vibrated loose holding the upper burr unit in place. I found one damaged screw in the ground coffee. Another screw was still in the burr chamber when I took the hopper unit off the grinder housing. This damaged the burrs and broke the threaded plastic coller, which left a sharp piece of plastic hanging on by a thread.

Mine has been grinding a couple of pots' worth of beans per day for more than a year now, and is still going strong. It's very noisy, but effective and consistent. It's much superior to blade grinders.

Comments about Conair Corp-Cuisinart Cuisinart Grinder:

I never knew how much my blade grinder changed the flavor of coffee until I tried the same coffee ground using a burr grinder. I couldn't go back to blade grinders. I've had this one for a year now, and it's made good coffee and espresso with a reasonably consistent grind. It's not the easiest to clean or the most consistent, but it may be the best value. It has plenty of power to do the job, and it may be the cheapest choice for making espresso at home. It also makes a perfect matched set with what some say is the best value in drip coffee makers.
